• To carry out activities related to the development of existing/new products, cost improvement, quality enhancement, and implementation processes for center console and door panel systems of commercial and passenger vehicles.
• To design the dashboard or center console & door panel components within own area of responsibility for existing and new vehicle projects, in compliance with legal regulations, quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.
• To develop technical solutions for quality issues identified in existing and new vehicle projects, and to carry out or ensure the execution of implementation activities.
• To ensure the preparation and release of technical specifications, 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for the related parts.
• To define the validation requirements of the relevant project components, sub-systems, or systems, and coordinate their execution according to the project plan.
• To participate in cost improvement activities, generate cost‑saving proposals, and ensure the implementation of related project changes.

Kwalifikasies

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mechanical Education.
• Minimum B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) level proficiency in English.
• Experience in product design using 3D design software; preferably with advanced knowledge of SIEMENS NX or CATIA.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to approach complex issues systematically.
• Knowledge and experience in Plastic Injection and/or Thermoforming design processes.
• Interest in following technology and innovation trends and conducting benchmarking studies.
• Eagerness to research and develop projects involving recycled, bio‑based, or innovative materials.
• Willingness to take part in advanced research and European Union projects, with an open and collaborative mindset.
