Job summary

A global business partner in the oils and fats industry, located in Turkey, is seeking an Industry Technology Manager. This role involves executing technical services for vegetable oil processing and biodiesel, supporting product launches in the Middle East Africa region, and conducting trials with potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 6–10 years of relevant experience, and a strong technical understanding of vegetable oil processes. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in oils and fats processing or related industries.
• Experience in process troubleshooting and optimization.
• Fluency in English; French or other regional languages are an advantage.

Job description

We are seeking a Industry Technology Managerbehalf of our global business partner operating in the vegetable oils, biodiesel, and oleochemicals sectors.

• Execute technical service activities for the vegetable oil processing, biodiesel, and specialty fats/oleochemicals industries.
• Support product launch activities in the Middle East Africa region and conduct proof-of-concept studies with key customers.
• Collaborate with customers on application development projects using region-specific raw materials such as soybean, rice bran, cottonseed, and sunflower.
• Conduct trials and demos with new leads to support the growth of degumming, biodiesel, and enzymatic interesterification business areas.
• Contribute to building an opportunity pipeline aligned with regional growth ambitions.
• Monitor market dynamics by evaluating competitor products and performance.
• Coordinate with Technical Service and Application Laboratories for customer raw material and sample analyses.
• Support additional technical and commercial activities that contribute to industry development within the assigned territories.
