Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Full-time onsite Industrial Quality Engineer in Turkey to lead site quality activities, focus on welding and fitting processes, and ensure Best in Class quality across product lines at the Bursa site.

You will work with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams, drive Process FMEA updates, implement digital controls, and develop the industrial quality team through training and coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of quality management and continuous improvement processes.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and quality control tools.
• Experience with welding processes and manufacturing methods.
• Familiarity with procurement and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage site Industrial Quality activities such as Process & Performance.
• Lead APSYS (Alstom Production System) improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements.
• Ensure regular Process FMEA and Control Plan updates to improve ZeroDefect objectives.
• Drive digitalisation of controls and processes using innovations.
• Analyze site level data to improve Industrial Quality Performance.
• Escalate anomalies on production lines and apply problem solving tools.
• Support decisions for Hand Overs and No-Go veto rights.
• Lead quality animation deployment aligned with CI system.
• Develop and mentor the industrial quality team with training plans.

Full‑time onsite Industrial Quality Engineer in Turkey

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive expertise in welding and fitting processes. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll ensure the “Best in Class” quality level for all product lines in the Bursa Site. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Engineering, Production), manage the industrial quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage site Industrial Quality activities such as Process & Performance.
• Lead APSYS (Alstom Production System) improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements.
• Ensure regular Process FMEA, Adapted Control Plan & Quality Control Plan update to improve ZeroDefect objective, especially for Special Processes.
• Ensure digitalisation of controls & processes using innovations.
• Perform analysis at site level to improve Industrial Quality Performance.
• Escalate the main anomalies detected on the production lines at site level & ensure the effective treatment (Problem Solving tools).
• Support decision for all Hand Overs (GO / NO GO) & NO GO Veto Right in any case.
• Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement system.
• Manage & develop the industrial quality team, using Quality Academy process & yearly training / qualification plan.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of quality management and continuous improvement processes.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and quality control tools.
• Experience of manufacturing methods, good level knowledge welding process.
• Familiarity with the procurement and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills both in Turkish and English.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Industrial (Railway experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO 9001, IRIS, CMMI, …) and Quality tools.
