Import-Export Specialists have many duties to be responsible for the flow from planning to delivery to customer or own warehouses. Plan and book import-export shipment, manage incoming transport orders. They document shipments to ensure that they are in compliance with customs rules and regulations. Import-Export Specialists also counsel clients on matters like tariffs, insurance, and quotas. They categorize shipments according to a tariff coding system. Handle administrative tasks such as transport invoices, complaints, custom matters and pricing matters. Negotiate price for single shipments when agreed with manager, to comply with all company processes, policies and guidelines.
