Job summary

Digitopia is expanding its AI capabilities, building reusable agents, intelligent workflows and reliable platform services to turn insights into action. We seek an AI Engineer who turns fast-moving AI tech into dependable products powering Digitopia’s experiences.

You will work across experimentation and production, shipping production-ready AI features, and turning prototypes into maintainable services while focusing on observability, safety, speed and cost as our AI systems scale.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering with strong APIs, testing, data modeling and system design.
• Willingness to contribute to architecture, code review, documentation, CI/CD and security.

Responsibilities

• Measure AI system performance with practical evals.
• Design and implement safeguards (guardrails) for reliable AI behavior.
• Ensure traceability of AI interactions, including failures and unexpected behavior.
• Improve cost and speed through caching, tiering and efficient context management.
• Build platform capabilities (service accounts, endpoints, state management) for safe agent operations.
