Job summary

Lesaffre's Amasya Factory seeks a highly motivated HSE Executive to lead and support all occupational safety processes on site. Qualifications

• Class B Occupational Health and Safety certificate required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Occupational Safety processes.
• Experience in food production industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation, regulations, labor law, and social security practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledgeable in risk assessment, safety inspections, investigation techniques, and legal requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Widely organized, disciplined, and team-oriented.
• Holds a Class B driver’s license and actively drives.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Amasya.
• NEBOSH International General certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver occupational safety training programs for employees and managers.
• Develop and implement occupational safety roadmaps, systems, and procedures.
• Support the employer / employer representative in fulfilling the company’s legal obligations regarding occupational safety across all areas of operation.
• Establish and maintain a structured program for occupational safety inspections, supervision, and controls.
• Ensure monitoring and reporting of occupational safety performance indicators.
• Plan periodic inspections, maintenance, and measurements at the workplace and execute plans with relevant departments.
• Strengthen the occupational safety culture through awareness programs and communication campaigns.
• Support site inspections and work permit procedures; manage contractors with relevant departments.
• Collaborate with departments to develop/update risk assessments, emergency plans, and site procedures; ensure implementation and monitor performance.
• Plan internal and external audits, safety visits, and contractor audits; follow up on nonconformities.
• Lead incident/accident/near-miss processes; conduct root cause analysis and track corrective actions.
• Prepare training plans with HR; provide one-on-one safety training.
• Lead monthly Occupational Health and Safety committee meetings; drive corrective actions.
• Conduct safety competency assessments of contractors; monitor contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with departments for regulatory requirements and reporting.
• Lead emergency management, drills, and crisis coordination when necessary.
• Support third-party audits at facilities.
• Integrate safety requirements into design phases of new facilities.
