Job summary

A leading staffing company in Turkey is looking for an experienced Health and Safety, Industrial Sustainability, Environment & Energy Manager. The ideal candidate will drive safety culture, ensure compliance with local laws, and lead sustainability initiatives. A bachelor's degree in engineering and extensive experience in H&S management are required. Excellent communication in English and Turkish is a must.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• At least a B Class Safety Specialist Certificate; A Class preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and nurture a strong safety culture on the shop floor — ensuring employees, contractors, and visitors work in line with H&S policies and procedures.
• Develop, update, and implement H&S policies in compliance with local laws and group standards.
• Provide expert advice to all departments on compliance, regulatory changes, and proactive risk management.
• Lead by influence — inspiring colleagues at all levels to embrace safer, smarter ways of working.
• Maintain or achieve ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications for the site.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes, build relationships with local institutions, and protect the company’s reputation.
• Support plant leadership on sustainability, environmental, and energy compliance.
• Drive major sustainability initiatives like decarbonization, water stewardship, and zero waste to landfill.
• Oversee budgets for H&S and ISEE, and help model energy and water consumption with cross-functional teams.
