Overview
The General Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facility operations, maintenance, and safety to ensure a secure and efficient workplace environment. This role will lead facilities planning, budgeting, and vendor management activities while driving continuous improvement in office infrastructure and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance
- Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments. Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
- Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
- Ensure security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly. Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
- Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors. Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members.
- Manage and review shuttle contracts
- Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees
- Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management
- Lead the organization of placement and furniture of the office regions and the meeting rooms
- Manage facilities capex budget and ensure properly tracking is in place
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in respective area/s
- University graduate from respective departments
- Good knowledge of Turkish Labor Law
- Analytical and well organized
- Contract handling experience
- Strong attention in details
- Excellence in using MS Office Programs
- Advance knowledge of Turkish
- Strong communication skills, possess the capability to interact with all levels across the organization
