Job summary

Gamegos is looking for a talented 2D game artist to join our team and help craft expressive mobile game assets from concept to final render. You will create UI elements, characters and environment art in line with our art style, collaborate across departments, and iterate quickly based on feedback to deliver high-quality visuals for our titles.

Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator, familiarity with Unity, and an interest in AI-assisted content production are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent illustration, graphics and visual development skills for mobile game assets.
• Proficient in 2D art tools including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to create UI elements in line with art style and UX trends.
• Strong understanding of graphic design, color, lighting, and composition.
• Preferably knowledge of Unity.
• Interest in AI tools and prompt writing for content production.
• Self-starting and collaborative, able to work across teams.
• Ability to iterate on an idea and take assets to final state.
• Excellent communication and receptiveness to feedback.

Qualifications

• Excellent illustration, graphics and visual development skills to create expressive mobile game assets,
• Fully proficient in 2D digital art creation tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.),
• Ability of creating user interface (UI) elements such as windows, menus, icons and buttons in line with our art style and following mobile game user experience (UX) trends,
• Strong understanding of graphic design, composition, character anatomy, lighting, staging, proportion, scale, value, perspective, and colour,
• Preferably knowledge of Unity,
• Interest in AI tools and LLM platforms (prompt writing, workflow optimisation, AI-assisted content production)
• Self-starting, self-reliant personality and willing to pitch in on many areas of game development in regards to concept support,
• Ability to quickly iterate on an idea, as well as take an asset to a final state,
• Ability to carry out business with both technical and non-technical team members effectively, Ability to accept feedback and adapt to change,
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to receive and provide objective feedback.
