Job summary

UltaHost in Turkey is seeking a talented full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, and TypeScript. You will build secure REST APIs, design databases with Prisma ORM on PostgreSQL/MySQL, and work with Redis.

You will collaborate across product, design, QA, and engineering, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker environments, and AI-assisted coding tools to deliver reliable cloud hosting and SaaS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong production experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• Proficient with React and Next.js.
• Hands-on Prisma ORM experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (Jest, Vitest, Supertest, etc.).
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack apps using Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build secure and maintainable REST APIs, authentication systems, and backend services.
• Design and maintain database schemas with Prisma ORM on PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis as needed.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development and deployment environments.
• Adopt AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Build secure and maintainable REST APIs, authentication systems, and backend services

• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar as part of your daily development workflow
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based development environments, and deployment processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Production experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM, PostgresSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/Redis
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Vitest, Supertest, or similar frameworks
• Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex CLI, or similar
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and modern engineering best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered applications using LLM APIs
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI agent frameworks, or AI automation
• Experience working on SaaS, hosting, cloud, or infrastructure platforms
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
• Experience optimizing application performance and large-scale systems
• Passion for AI-assisted software engineering and continuous improvement
