Job summary

UNICEF is seeking a Floating Programme Associate (G-6) to provide flexible programme support across Education, Child Protection, Social Policy, and other sectors. The role includes project management, partner coordination, data handling, analysis, and reporting to inform decisions and track progress.

It also covers grant and budget management, and engaging in digital innovation to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate has at least six years of relevant experience in programme delivery,

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required; higher education in related fields is desirable.
• Minimum six years of relevant work experience in programme grants, budget, data analysis, or capacity building.
• Proven ability to manage partnerships and coordinate events.
• Proficient English language; additional languages desirable (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive programme support across UNICEF sectors.
• Support project management and coordination with implementing partners.
• Manage data, perform analyses, and generate reports to inform decisions and track progress.
• Oversee grant management, budget monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to digital innovation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
• Engage in capacity building and event coordination to strengthen partner capabilities and knowledge exchange.
