Job Description
Credit Management
- Manage customer credit limits and insurance coverage in line with company credit policies, and oversee approval processes.
- Monitor customer receivables to ensure timely payments within agreed terms.
- Coordinate with credit insurers, handle claims, and manage defaults.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable and credit master data for potential and existing customers.
- Manage trade finance operations (letters of credit, guarantees, bank bonds) and liaise with financial institutions.
- Prepare analyses for credit committee meetings and evaluate the effectiveness of existing credit procedures.
Metal Hedging Operations
- Manage metal risk processes and collect, analyse, and share unit-level metal risk data.
- Perform daily monitoring of sales and purchase orders to execute metal hedging operations.
- Calculate gains/losses from hedging and daily metal results.
- Coordinate with suppliers and planning teams to optimise metal delivery schedules.
- Provide training and support to unit stakeholders on metal risk awareness.
Treasury Operations
- Supervise daily cash and debt management, trade finance operations, and banking relationships.
- Monitor daily cash requirements, prepare cash forecasts, and ensure operational financing.
- Implement FX hedging strategies and monitor daily FX exposure; recommend process improvements.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties within the treasury function and manage access rights.
- Identify and report operational risks and opportunities in cash, FX, and metal management to management.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, and/or industrial / manufacturing finance.
- Fluent in English.
- Proactive, result-oriented, with a strong eagerness to find solutions and solve problems.
- Excellent negotiation skills and willingness to engage with customers.
- Cooperative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong persuasion and assertiveness skills, both with senior management and in executing risk mitigation responsibilities (e.g., blocking orders).
- Highly detail-oriented and organised; able to provide accurate and reliable information and adjust processes based on reported data.
- Solid knowledge of credit instruments, accounting principles, and position-related legal aspects.
- Customer service-oriented, with strong internal and external relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and financial reporting tools.
