Job summary

EY Türkiye’s M&A team seeks a Senior/Manager to join in Istanbul, focusing on buy-side and sell-side advisory, and complex domestic and international transactions within strategic finance projects.

You will lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, and due diligence coordination, draft information memoranda, and liaise with clients and senior decision-makers, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to firm growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, engineering or related field with a strong quantitative focus.
• Master’s degree in Finance or MBA is a plus.
• 4+ years of work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, deal advisory, business development and/or strategy.
• Experience in business modeling and three-statement financial analysis.
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish

Responsibilities

• Work in a telescopic team structure on multiple M&A projects, focusing on the execution of the transactions and business development.
• Draft marketing materials (i.e. teasers, information memoranda, management presentations) and potential pitch decks.
• Lead financial modeling and valuation exercises for current and potential clients.
• Assist in the full transaction execution process, coordination of due diligence phases and often act as the main contact person.
• Actively participate in external meetings
• Supervise and coach senior/assistants, help them enhance their contribution and develop their capabilities
• Contribute to EY Parthenon team and local EY practice

The Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Team at EY Türkiye specializes in providing M&A advisory services for a wide range of buy-side and sell-side transactions. We excel in structuring and executing complex domestic and international acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Collaborating closely with clients, our team develops comprehensive M&A strategies, conducts valuation analysis, negotiates deals, and ensures successful transaction outcomes. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional M&A advisory services to our clients, supporting their growth and strategic objectives.

We are looking for Senior / Manager to join our M&A team in İstanbul, where you will be an integral part of working on strategic assignments involving M&A and other capital market activities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior-level decision makers at leading corporations, contributing to the success of our client’s growth strategies. Your key responsibilities

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a finance, business administration, engineering or other related field with a strong quantitative focus


• A Master’s degree (in Finance, or MBA) or other related fields is a plus


• 4+ years of work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, deal advisory, business development and/or strategy


• Experience in business modeling and financial analysis skills, ability to create three‑statement integrated financial models


• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office worksuite


• Drive to take ownership of tasks and drive responsibilities beyond basic duties


• Ability to multi‑task and manage expectations while supporting multiple time‑sensitive projects and priorities


• Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach
