Job summary

A leading logistics company in Turkey is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee an Industrial Engineering team. Responsibilities include designing solutions for manufacturing processes, implementing changes, and ensuring productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, along with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in related business.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing or TPS (Toyota Production System).
• Responsible and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering team composed of Industrial engineers.

Job Description

• Management of Engineering team composed from Industrial engineering,
• Solution design of new and existing products/projects (design of manufacturing process, layout, equipment list, pilot program definition, ramp up plans, implementation support)
• Implementation of change requests into current process (analyzing impact – on manpower, capacity, line balance, etc.)
• Product/Process flow design and definition
• Shop-Floor system flow design and definition
• Productivity & Efficiency monitoring method design
• Collaboration with Project specialist on Change request management (in terms of solution design)
• Communication with customer on engineering level - looking for optimal and efficient solution
• Continuous improvement
• Developing innovations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
• Industrial/Manufacturing engineering including leadership Manufacturing/Service field of consumer electronics, automotive etc.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related business
• Good command of verbal and written English
• Microsoft Office user experience (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word, Visio)
• LEAN manufacturing or TPS (Toyota Production System)
• Analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Strong leadership skills (decisions maker)
• Responsible and able to work independently.
