Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity.
• Maintains standards of student behavior to support a functional learning atmosphere.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Evaluates pupil performance and growth using formative and summative tools; keeps records and progress reports.
• Communicates with parents through conferences to discuss student progress and interpret the school program.
• Collaborates with colleagues to promote an optimal learning environment for pupils.
