Job summary

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the property to ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will monitor the Building Management System (BMS), read meter readings, perform planned maintenance, manage work orders, and support meetings and events with reliable electrical setups.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• MYK Vocational Qualification Certificate (preferred).
• Experience in hospitality or similar facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title : Electrical Technician

Reporting To : Director of Engineering

An Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

What will I be doing?

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:

• Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Monitor and effectively utilize the Building Management System (BMS).
• Read and record electrical meter readings on a daily basis.
• Manage maintenance requests and work orders through the hotel's maintenance management system.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical service records.
• Conduct routine technical inspections throughout the hotel.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs of electrical panels, wiring, and the hotel's electrical infrastructure (excluding work requiring external contractors).
• Diagnose faults, install, remove, and repair electric motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in guest rooms and public areas.
• Perform maintenance, installation, and replacement of lighting fixtures and lamps.
• Install, configure, and maintain televisions and other electronic equipment.
• Prepare and support the technical setup for meetings, conferences, and special events.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors when required.
• Report equipment and material requirements in a timely manner.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and hotel operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other hotel departments.
• Participate actively in the hotel's emergency response team.

• Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
• MYK (Vocational Qualifications Authority of Türkiye) Vocational Qualification Certificate (preferred, relevant to the profession)
• Previous technical service experience in the hospitality industry or similar facilities is preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Strong team player with a responsible and proactive approach
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
• Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
