Job summary

We are looking for a dynamic EHS professional to strengthen and continuously improve our occupational health, safety, and environmental practices at our site. If you have solid experience in EHS processes, strong knowledge of legislation and management systems, and a proactive approach to creating a safe and sustainable work environment, this role is for you. Join us in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational excellence through effective EHS practices.

What you will do:
  • Analyze occupational and environmental incidents, prepare root cause analysis reports, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Lead plant EHS activities; work in close coordination with the EMEA EHS management team through weekly meetings, and ensure the implementation of EMEA EHS processes at the plant.
  • Prepare, update, and continuously improve HSE risk assessments
  • Plan and deliver internal EHS trainings and conduct on-site training sessions
  • Perform regular site inspections, report findings, and ensure timely closure of action items
  • Prepare monthly EHS plans and track KPIs (accident rates, lost time injuries, volumes, etc.)
  • Develop emergency response plans and manage emergency drills
  • Manage ISO 14001 Environmental Management System activities
  • Actively participate in EHS Committee meetings and ensure coordination between management and shopfloor teams
  • Support the integration and maintenance of IATF 16949 documentation related to EHS processes
  • Prepare local and global reports and present documentation in English
  • Lead plant EHS activites, And weekly meeting with central EMEA management
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering background
  • Class B Occupational Safety Specialist certification (Class A is an asset / preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of EHS and environmental legislationGood command of English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with EHS software is a plus
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and solution-focused
