Job summary

Shawneespring is seeking a Dietary Supervisor for our skilled nursing facility. You will assist the Chef in supervising the dietary department to ensure nutritious and palatable meals for residents.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting PI audits, managing inventories, and supporting menu development. A high school diploma is required, and strong communication with the dietitian and team is essential to ensure high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Works well with others and communicates effectively with the chef, dietitian, and other staff to ensure teamwork and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Chef and assists in managing food service operations.
• Assists in orientation, training and supervision of dietary staff.
• Supports the inservice program to maintain quality standards.
• Ensures staff properly use and clean dietary equipment.
• Conducts meal rounds and assists residents with food preferences.
• Supervises preparation, production, stock rooms and dish room areas; maintains safety and sanitation.
