Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Operations Technician 2 for our Istanbul Data Center (IL2). In this role, you will assist in managing work order requests, maintaining documentation, and supporting various tasks within our data center environment. Your responsibilities will include racking and stacking equipment, assisting with installations and cross-connects, conducting basic testing, and troubleshooting under supervision. You will also collaborate with operations and security teams to ensure customer satisfaction and provide on-site support.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to work order requests and maintain accurate records of tasks completed

  • Assist in setting up and securing customer equipment in racks and support basic installations, including cable organization

  • Help with connecting cables and making necessary changes for customer setups

  • Support basic testing of equipment and assist in identifying and resolving simple issues under guidance

  • Collaborate with operations, security, and other teams as needed

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively managing requests and providing friendly, helpful service

  • Help customers understand what to expect for new installations or services

  • Assist customers and visitors with access to the facility and guide them as needed

Qualifications

  • Language Skills:Proficiency in Turkish and excellent command of English

  • Educational Background:Completed training in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory. CCNA/switching

  • Experience:Any hands-on experience in IT, Fiber cabling, hardware maintenance and installation

  • Customer Service:Strong orientation towards customer service and satisfaction

  • Technical Skills:Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn more
