The ideal candidate will proactively drive media and influencer engagement to strengthen our corporate narrative around Apple’s Values and Retail offering, and help build excitement for our products, via feature stories and creator content that showcase their benefits to consumers and businesses.

Description

The successful candidate will help devise and execute communications initiatives that resonate locally, bringing to life both corporate and product storytelling. You will help us establish and build meaningful connections for Apple with journalists, creators, and local communities, influencing and driving launch and momentum campaigns to ensure maximum awareness and coverage in Türkiye.You will manage day-to-day press enquiries, drive product seeding, and anticipate and navigate issues in a fast-moving news environment.You will also partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product and Corporate PR, Product Marketing, Marcom, Government Affairs, Retail, and Legal to deliver initiatives that increase awareness and understanding of Apple and how the company is a force for good.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience in public relations, in-house or in an agency setting.
  • Experience in media relations and a strong network of media and influencer contacts in tech, lifestyle, policy, environment, and sustainability spaces.
  • Proficiency in English and Turkish.
  • Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in creative, tech, design, and cultural platforms.
  • Successfully delivered corporate and consumer PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact.
  • Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude, and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, and adapting quickly to change.
  • Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
