Job summary

Canonical is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own cloud native operations products like Juju, identity, and observability. Based remotely in the EMEA region, you will partner with engineering, design, marketing and sales to set product vision, drive development, and deliver outcomes for enterprise customers.

You will research markets, align priorities, coach teams, and define KPIs while contributing to Canonical's open source mission and success of our cloud native portfolio.

Qualifications

• Seasoned product management in open source cloud native domains.
• Experience designing or managing software operations for large-scale distributed systems.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Understanding enterprise security and compliance in software operations.

Responsibilities

• Define commercial strategy and marketing leadership for cloud native ops products.
• Lead lifecycle of product development with priorities and goals.
• Work with engineering leads to oversee development.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align priorities.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and gather customer feedback.
• Develop and coach the team; establish KPIs for reporting.
