Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and related field required.
• 5 years of prior relevant experience including >1 years project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the job area and broad knowledge of related areas.
• Knowledge of clinical trials and regulatory requirements (ICH GCP)

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid defense presentations in partnership with Business Development and may lead the presentation for smaller, less complex regional studies.
• Deliver and manage smaller, less complex, regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
• Execute clinical studies per contract while optimizing speed, quality and cost.
• Set objectives of the core project team and assess performance.
• Collaborate with other functional groups to support milestone achievement and issue management.
• Monitor progress against contract and present project information to stakeholders.
• Manage risks and contingencies and lead problem solving.
• Ensure project quality by addressing risks and implementing CAPA.
• May serve as primary/backup project contact with customer and manage relationships.
• Build cross-functional project team and oversee collaboration for delivery.
• Ensure financial success of the project and forecast opportunities.
• Identify scope changes and manage change control.
• Capture lessons learned and implement best practices.
• May be primary vendor contact and lead vendor management.
• Adopt corporate initiatives and act as change advocate.
• Provide input to line managers on team performance.
• Mentor less experienced team members for professional development.
