Job summary

A dynamic fintech player is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations including treasury, risk management, and compliance with IFRS. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in finance, preferably in fintech or banking sectors, with a strong ethical standard and proven leadership skills. Fluent English and knowledge of SAP are advantageous. This role is based in Turkey.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our business partner, a dynamic player in the fintech sector.

Lead the full spectrum of financial operations, including treasury, cash flow, risk management, accounting, and tax.

Oversee financial reporting in compliance with IFRS.

Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership on corporate strategy, capital planning, and investment decisions.

Provide financial leadership in global projects and international subsidiaries.

Lead and develop the finance team, including treasury, accounting, and administrative functions; indirectly oversee the budgeting team.

Drive financial discipline across the organization and support cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance,
• Fintech, payment systems, banking, or investment banking sector experience is a major plus,
• Previous experience at a Big4 audit firm is strongly preferred,
• Strong expertise in treasury, cash flow management, and hedging strategies,
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and regulatory compliance,
• Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead change and drive performance in a multicultural environment,
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities,
• High ethical standards and a collaborative style,
• Prior experience in matrix organizations or involvement in international finance projects is highly valued,
• Fluent in English; experience with SAP is a plus.
