Job summary

Bluewater is seeking a Chief Engineer for a 43m private yacht currently under construction in Turkey. This permanent role requires leadership of the engine room and all technical systems, with the vessel set for Med operations in 2027 and Turkey in 2026/27.

The project will complete in 2027, Malta flag noted; crew of a couple onboard; salary is to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in marine engineering or chief engineer roles on yachts.
• Proven track record managing engine rooms and complex systems on large vessels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering and technical operations on the 43m newbuild.
• Lead maintenance planning, safety compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with owner and crew for offshore itineraries in the Med and Turkey.
