Job summary

Turing is building one of the most rigorous STEM AI training datasets. As a SciCode Trainer, you will author, implement, and review complex scientific problems across core STEM disciplines, writing clear constraints and discriminative tests to ensure high-quality tasks.

You will work on problem specifications, implement golden solutions in Python, and participate in QC validations and reviews to meet stringent evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Strong Python programming skills for scientific computing.
• Ability to craft rigorous, well-posed scientific problems with clear constraints.

Responsibilities

• Write scientific problem specifications with a main problem and at least 3 sub-problems.
• Implement verified golden solutions in Python with unit tests.
• Design discriminative test cases to differentiate correct vs. incorrect outputs.
• Run QC validation on the Turing Central Task Platform including structure checks and rubrics.
• Iterate on tasks based on feedback to meet Pass@K criteria across multiple judges.
• Participate in reviews and standups during overlap hours.
