Job summary

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace degree (Bachelors or Masters) with a solid grasp of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, and are able to commit to school-period attendance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (3rd or 4th year) or Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
  • Strong academic background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansys Fluent or similar CFD software.
  • Minimum 3 full days attendance required during school period.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow and thermal performance of components and systems using Ansys Fluent.
  • Prepare and clean CAD geometry for simulation (meshing).
  • Analyze simulation results, draw conclusions, and prepare clear technical reports.
  • Support pre-development activities by researching and implementing new CFD methodologies.
  • Provide support for injection molding simulations to optimize part design and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with design and test engineers to validate simulation models and provide design recommendations.
  • Create Python scripts for simulation tools.
  • Assist the team with day-to-day simulation tasks and project documentation.
