Job summary

Ericsson Türkiye is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Ericsson’s next-generation network products and solutions. You will work with experienced engineers across the full lifecycle, from requirements to implementation, testing, verification, and support.

The main development language is C++, so hands-on C++ experience is required. The role is based in Ericsson Turkey offices in Istanbul, Izmir, or Ankara and follows a hybrid working model,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in C++ development with solid OOP fundamentals.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test/Mock for C++ or JUnit for Java.
• Exposure to enterprise software development and product delivery processes (code reviews, CI/CD, releases, issue tracking).
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (Scrum or Kanban).
• Experience with Linux, Git/Gerrit, and Jenkins is a strong advantage.
• Experience with real-time or multi-threaded systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, routing, sockets).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Baseband software development and deliver features for next-generation network solutions.
• Review requirements with the team and translate them into clean, maintainable designs.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain C++ modules focusing on quality and performance.
• Support troubleshooting by analyzing logs and proposing fixes.
• Participate in software verification and unit testing throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, tools, and workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Continuously develop knowledge in C++, real-time systems, and telecom technologies.
