Overview

We are seeking an Architect with 7–12 years of experience in design coordination, BIM management, and shop drawing preparation. This role is part of our [Project/PMO Team] and supports international projects through design verification, multidisciplinary coordination, BIM integration, and shop drawing oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design Verification: Review and verify the Client’s native BIM model and IFC design to ensure consistency and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordination Leadership: Lead design coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines; conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts in line with the BIM Execution Plan.
• BIM Management: Manage and update the project BIM model to reflect coordination outcomes, ensuring it meets contract LOD requirements.
• Shop Drawing Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the preparation of shop drawings derived from the final coordinated BIM model, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely release.
• Procurement Alignment: Develop and manage a shop drawing release plan tied to procurement and delivery schedules for materials and equipment.
• Client Interface: Prepare Design Verification and Coordination Reports for the Client engineer; track issues until resolved.
• Documentation & Submittals: Ensure all deliverables comply with project specifications, submittal procedures, and international standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in BIM, design coordination, and shop drawing management.
• Strong background in multidisciplinary coordination (architecture, structure, MEP).
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; experience with clash detection and BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).
• Familiarity with international standards and LOD requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Organized, proactive, and able to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be currently residing in Istanbul.
