What you will do:

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and optimize new products and/or features that ensure well-designed, robust, scalable, testable functionalities by using C# and .NET frameworks.
• Work with relational and columnar databases in applications.
• Collaborate with product management and testing teams periodically on new releases, patches, and fixes.
• Mentor and work with junior team members to improve software development skills through code reviews and appropriate coding methodologies.
• Implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve existing products and solutions.
• Maintain and improve performance of existing systems and solutions.

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or Telecommunications. SME without the relevant degree will also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills.
• Understanding the main concepts and some development experience on .NET Framework, .NET Core and C# development.
• Experience with ORM frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of database transactions and concurrent programming.
• Awareness of latest trends, tools and principles and ability to use them where applicable.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Ability to reside and work in Turkey, without requiring work permit sponsorship.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience in relational database performance management.
• Expertise on Oracle, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse databases.
• Hands-on experience of CI/CD operations.
• Understanding and proper documentation of development standards and the infrastructure of the systems/frameworks built by the candidate.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
