Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years in database administrator roles in production environments.
• Certifications (e.g., Azure SQL, Oracle) are a plus.
• Experience with MSSQL, Azure SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise databases across on-prem MSSQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Monitor performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
• Ensure data security with access controls and encryption.
• Handle backups, DR testing, and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with developers to support application needs.
