Vista Aircraft Maintenance in Van Nuys, CA is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and installation of avionics systems in a Part 145 environment. You will work with Gulfstream, Cessna, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft using AMM and approved procedures.

The role requires 3+ years avionics experience, strong English communication, and ownership of necessary tools.

Qualifications

3+ years avionics experience in a Part 145 environment
Strong background in business aviation (Part 135 preferred)
Familiar with Manufacturer's Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Component Manuals, etc.
Must have own tools necessary for the job
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Responsabilités

Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, removal and replacement of avionics and instrument systems per AMM and General Maintenance Manual
Troubleshoot, repair, test and document avionics wiring and systems; order parts as needed
Record work and parts installation accurately on work orders; reference data and procedures
Provide on-the-job training to other technicians and assist in skill development
Assist flight crews with in-flight troubleshooting and preflight evaluations of avionics systems
Maintain avionics test equipment and work area; operate ground support equipment as needed
Attend factory and company training; maintain training log
