Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer - AI-First based in Turkey for a fully remote opportunity. You will build high-scale software in an AI-first environment, combining backend Java/Spring Boot with frontend Angular/TypeScript and leveraging AI coding agents to accelerate development.

You will own end-to-end delivery, review AI-generated code, ensure secure engineering practices, and collaborate with Product to shape what gets built in a fast-moving AI-focused platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack experience.
• Backend development with Java and Spring Boot; frontend with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated code and applying security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own product development within an autonomous engineering team, collaborating with Product Managers to define priorities and solutions.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot on the backend and Angular/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Use AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Review AI-generated code for functionality, architecture, scalability, maintainability and security.
• Take end-to-end ownership of software delivery from design to deployment on cloud infrastructure.
• Apply modern application security practices and identify vulnerabilities across applications.
• Collaborate with teammates to balance frontend/backend priorities based on impact.
• Contribute to a results-oriented, meeting-light engineering culture with autonomy.
