Job summary

Mobiva is seeking a senior technical lead to head our growing development teams across mobile, backend, and QA. You will own backend architecture and API decisions, working closely with product to deliver features end-to-end every sprint.

Expect hands-on coding during intense periods and strategic leadership at all times. You will shape the AI-enabled product stack, integrate AI models, manage cost controls, and ensure analytics and monetization services are correctly implemented across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development and team leadership experience.
• Experience designing APIs and communication models for mobile apps.
• Experience with API versioning and backward compatibility.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design and performance optimization.
• Full-stack capability with React Native and Next.js.
• Hands-on production experience with AI/LLM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team across mobile, backend, and QA; grow and mentor the team.
• Plan work with the product team, and deliver complete on time each sprint.
• Own API design and backend architecture decisions as tech lead.
• Oversee the backend layer integrating AI models and managing latency/processing.
• Manage model cost controls and usage limits with product team.
• Ensure RevenueCat, Adapty, Web2Wave and event analytics are implemented.
• Maintain code quality, reviews, and engineering standards.
• Advance AI-driven development practices to reduce defects while preserving speed.
• Contribute hands-on work on mobile and web when needed.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and infrastructure.
