Job summary

Alignerr is seeking AI Chatbot Testers for a fully remote hourly contract. Work 10–40 hours per week evaluating chatbot responses, assessing usefulness, tone, and safety, and reporting issues. You’ll craft prompts and provide detailed feedback to help improve AI systems. No technical background needed, just strong written communication and curiosity.

Flexible schedule and asynchronous work style allow you to contribute from anywhere while collaborating with global research teams.

What You'll Do

• Engage in a wide variety of conversations with AI chatbots across diverse topics
• Evaluate responses for helpfulness, accuracy, tone, and safety
• Identify issues such as incorrect information, awkward phrasing, logical errors, or potential bias
• Craft creative, nuanced, and challenging prompts to stress-test AI capabilities
• Submit structured, detailed feedback to help research teams improve AI performance
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring ideas across a wide range of subjects
• Able to assess response quality objectively and articulate your reasoning clearly
• Strong written communicator with an eye for detail
• Comfortable navigating chat-based digital interfaces
• Reliable, self-motivated, and consistent in your work
• No prior AI, technical, or testing experience required
