Responsibilities
  • Creating high-quality animations for characters, props, and environment elements
  • Rigging characters and objects for optimal control and performance in Unity
  • Collaborating with concept artists, 3D modelers, and developers to ensure animation works seamlessly in gameplay
  • Developing expressive character performances that communicate personality, emotion and intent
  • Iterating on feedback and optimizing animations for real-time performance
  • Supporting the team with best practices for rigging and animation workflow
Qualifications
  • Degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field
  • A strong animation sense with a clear understanding of body mechanics, timing, weight, and posing
  • Solid experience in rigging and skinning characters for games
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Blender, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Unity and implementing animations using Unity’s animation system
  • Familiarity with animation pipelines in games
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to take and give constructive feedback
