Job summary
A dynamic consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Accounting to oversee financial operations for its manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, CPA qualifications, and at least 5 years of management experience. Key responsibilities include managing accounts, coordinating audits, and leading ERP enhancements. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Travel within Southeast Asia is required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Accounting to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial operations across Singapore and Vietnam entities.

- Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries.
- Review and analyse product costing reports from manufacturing plants.
- Handle transfer pricing and related documentation across regional operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for audits and tax planning.
- Oversee GST filings and manage MES renewals with consultants.
- Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Lead improvements and enhancements in ERP systems to increase efficiency.
- Mentor and guide accounting staff to support their professional growth.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification is a must.
- At least 5 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong grasp of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Analytical, meticulous, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
