Job summary

A dental clinic in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to offer chairside support and manage patient interactions. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be a team player, and be willing to work weekends. Prior experience in dental assisting is a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position with responsibilities including managing appointments and assisting during procedures.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (5.5 days work week).
• Prior experience in Dental Assisting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during clinical and surgical procedures.
• Sterilise and prepare instruments and equipment according to infection control protocol.
• Maintain clean and organised treatment rooms.
• Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage patient registration, appointment bookings, follow-ups, and send timely reminders.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and online enquiries.
• Handle billing, payments, and process claims (e.g., CHAS, Medisave, insurance).
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
• Support the smooth running of daily clinic operations and liaise with clinical staff.
• Perform general administrative duties, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of records.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Management.
