Job summary
A professional recruitment agency is seeking a Contract Accountant to support financial operations in Singapore. The role involves managing monthly account closures, participating in year-end audits, and providing accounting support to stakeholders. Candidates should have relevant financial experience and strong communication skills. The position is based in Raffles Place, offering a salary of up to $4,600 for a duration of 9 months.

Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts.
- Participate in year-end audit and handle related matters.
- Provide accounting support to joint venture partners.
- Prepare management reports for stakeholders.
Skills
Location: Republic Plaza, Raffles Place
Working Hours: 5 days/week, 8.45am – 6pm
Duration: 9 months
Salary: Up to $4,600
You will support the business units from a financial operations perspective and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for entities under your charge (subsidiaries/JVs). Your work contributes to the consolidated financial reports of the Group and supports management in monitoring performance and decision-making.
- Ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts for subsidiaries and joint venture companies
- Participate in year-end audit and handle all audit-related matters
- Review budget figures and tax computations for submission to Group Reporting
- Provide accounting support to joint venture partners or investors
- Prepare management reports for Senior Management, JV partners or investors
- Oversee and guide 1–2 team members
- Handle day-to-day operational accounting enquiries from managers and stakeholders
