Job summary
A local engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure efficient daily operations. Candidates should have a background in electrical engineering (N/O-Level or ITE certificate) and experience in logistics or store supervision is preferred. Qualifications
- Minimum N or O-Level, or ITE certificate in electrical engineering or strong knowledge in electrical engineering related parts and materials.
- Must supervise workers loading, unloading, packing, and arranging warehouse items.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or store supervision is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise loading, unloading, and packing of warehouse cargo.
- Ensure smooth operations and support for project efficiency.
- Report warehousing issues to management in a timely manner.
Skills
Education
- Supervise workers loading, unloading, packing and arranging of warehouse cargo and items, including the handling of return materials;
- Ensure workers in the store are performing their assigned duties responsibly to ensure the smooth operations and support for the efficient running of projects;
- Perform moving of warehouse cargo and items;
- Identify operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs;
- Report to the manager warehousing issues in a timely manner;
- Perform warehouse operations in accordance with internal protocol and techniques;
- Coordinate logistic support for various project sites, ensuring timely delivery of materials and workers;
- Ensure fleet management and maintenance;
- Assist with administration work involved in the stores and purchasing function;
- Perform Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities in store to ensure personal compliance to requirements and highlight any shortcomings;
- Assist in the monitoring of office building maintenance and housekeeping at store;
- Assist in operating the warehouse management system and time management system to be deployed across the project sites;
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Company.

- Must be able to supervise workers loading, unloading, packing and arranging of warehouse cargo and items and willing to perform hands-on warehouse tasks
- Able to supervise workers and ensure daily operations run efficiently
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or store supervision is an advantage
