Job summary
A leading financial institution in Singapore is looking for an Operations professional to handle corporate action events. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in financial services operations. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The successful candidate will ensure accurate processing of corporate actions and provide excellent service to clients.

Responsibilities
- Process corporate action events accurately and promptly.
- Notify clients on voluntary corporate action events.
- Ensure clients’ entitlements are protected.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to corporate actions.
- Maintain a high standard of service quality.

In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
- Check and ensure that all corporate action events (mandatory / mandatory with choices / voluntary) are processed correctly and promptly
- Ensure prompt notification to clients on voluntary corporate action events such as rights issue, dividend with options, tender offers, Singapore Reits, etc
- Ensure that clients’ entitlements are protected
- Check that clients’ instructions are executed accordingly
- Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies or issues related to corporate action events
- Maintain high standard of service quality by providing timely response to clients’ enquiries
- Support the team in daily operational tasks as needed
- Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably with some exposure to corporate actions and knowledge of SWIFT – MT56X series
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good team player, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the corporate actions domain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to read/write macros
