Job summary
A leading construction service provider in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for HDB or Condo projects. Responsibilities include preparing measurement sheets, estimating costs, monitoring site progress, and assisting in claims preparation. The ideal candidate has a degree in Building or Quantity Surveying and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential. The role offers a salary range of $4000-$5500.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in HDB or Condo Project.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Good mathematical and accounting skills.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (HDB or Condo Project) (ID4639)

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9.00am-6.30pm
Salary: $4000-$5500
Quantity Surveyor (HDB or Condo Project)
- Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off as required.
- Assist in estimation of direct & indirect costs for sub-contract sublet.
- Monitors and records site progress and keeps records of day works.
- Checks the allocation of manpower and productivity; prepares comparison sheets for quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in claims preparation in coordination with the Project Manager/Director.
- Follow up payments from main contractor, consultant or client.
- Assist the PD/PM to establish and operate project cost control.
- Provides advice on contractual claims, VO or other contractual matters.
- Measures and computes values for variations and prepares interim and/or final accounts.
- Provides estimates, computations and works on contractual/technical/project change orders.
- Prepares monthly progress payments to main contractors, consultants and clients.
- Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in HDB or Condo Project.
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Construction background.
- Possess good mathematical and accounting skills.
