We believe we should make an impact in the vicinity we are located at, with a mission to develop the potential of individuals, strengthen families and foster communal bonding to enrich our society.

Job Description

Youth G.R.I.T. is a growing initiative of Bless Community Services that seeks to engage, develop, and empower youths through meaningful relationships, purposeful programmes, and community involvement.

We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to help establish and grow our Youth GRIT work, walking alongside youths as they discover resilience, purpose, and hope.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement outreach strategies to connect with youths and increase participation in Youth GRIT programmes.
  • Develop and deliver outreach programmes that build trust, encourage active participation, and foster a sense of belonging among youths.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular Youth GRIT activities and gatherings that provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for social and emotional growth.
  • Conceptualize and pilot innovative programmes addressing emerging youth needs to enhance Youth GRIT’s impact.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain collaborative partnerships with schools, community groups, and organisations to expand programme reach and effectiveness.
  • Collect, analyse, and report participation data, outcomes, and feedback to evaluate and improve programme effectiveness in alignment with BCS’s Youth Model of Care.
  • Manage Youth GRIT facilities (Bouldering Wall, Gym ,etc) to ensure safety, welcoming atmosphere, and suitability for youth engagement and activities.
  • Collaborate with other BCS sub-teams (Seniors, Community, and S3P) to plan and execute community events that promote social bonding, volunteer engagement, and appreciation.
  • Support intergenerational and community-building initiatives that foster mutual care and a sense of belonging across diverse groups.
