Role Summary

You will be responsible for shift duties performing data analysis on defect scan data. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with module shift engineers within a dynamic environment to identify, analyse and resolve defect issues impacting production yield in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defect Identification: Monitor and analyze production processes to identify abnormal defect conditions and implement corrective actions
  • Data Analysis: Utilize various inspection / metrology tools (e.g KLA BBP, KLA Laser Scan, AMAT eBeam, SemV, EDX) to evaluate defects and maintain accurate defect classifications
  • Colloboration: Work closely with process engineer and technicians to enhance manufacturing line stability and quality.
  • Support Yield Engineer to identify potential yield‑limiting defect sources and drive defect reduction roadmap for respective technology, through data‑driven decisions
  • Reporting: Conduct defect source analysis, issue defect notices, and manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) based on daily dynamic changing priorities

A Diploma or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field

Minimum of at least 2 years of experience in KLA bright field, dark field and defect metrology tools and inline applications of these tools to monitor and detect root causes in a high‑volume advanced manufacturing fab
