Job summary

ABeam Consulting (Singapore) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Xceptor Developer with deep banking and capital markets expertise to own end-to-end data automation.

You will design and deliver robust upstream and downstream integrations, manage MessageHub channels, and configure Mail and Application APIs to streamline financial workflows. The role requires strong Xceptor hands-on experience, knowledge of trade lifecycles, reconciliations, and settlements, and collaboration with enterprise architects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Active Xceptor Practitioner Certification is mandatory.
• Strong domain knowledge in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Xceptor integration pipelines across upstream systems and downstream platforms.
• Architect and deploy automated data intake and dispatch via Xceptor Mail and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Work on Xceptor MessageHub, configuring channels for parsing, routing, and validation across formats (SWIFT, FIX, XML, JSON, CSV).
• Build data transformation, reconciliation, and validation rules supporting front-to-back operations, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and SMEs to translate banking requirements into scalable Xceptor designs.
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance and data integrity.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Xceptor Developer with deep hands-on expertise in banking and capital markets technologies. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end data automation, designing and delivering robust downstream and upstream application integrations. You will work extensively with Xceptor MessageHub, managing channels, and configuring Mail and Application API integrations to streamline complex financial workflows, improve operational efficiency, and drive straight-through processing (STP).

Responsibilities:

• Upstream & Downstream Integration:Design, configure, and maintain robust integration pipelines connecting Xceptor with critical upstream transaction systems and downstream analytical, accounting, and reporting platforms.
• API & Mail Integration:Architect and deploy automated data intake and dispatch mechanisms utilizing Xceptor Mail integration and REST/SOAP Application APIs for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured financial data.
• MessageHub & Channel Management:Work extensively on Xceptor MessageHub, configuring enterprise-grade channels to handle message parsing, routing, validation, transformation, and exception handling across varied payload formats (SWIFT, FIX, XML, JSON, CSV).
• Workflow Automation & Rules Engine:Build complex data transformation, reconciliation, and validation rules in Xceptor to support front-to-back office operations, trade capture, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
• Technical Collaboration:Partner with enterprise architects, business analysts, and market platform SMEs to translate complex banking requirements into scalable, maintainable Xceptor solution designs.
• Performance Optimization & Maintenance:Monitor production workflows, troubleshoot integration failures, reduce latency, and ensure ongoing system stability and data integrity across automated processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Active Xceptor Practitioner Certification is mandatory.
• Strong domain knowledge in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services, with expertise in trade lifecycles, reconciliations, corporate actions, settlements, and related operational processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Xceptor platform development, including dataset modeling, rule logic configuration, workflow automation, and solution design.
• Proven expertise in Xceptor MessageHub and channel administration, including multi-channel routing, message processing, payload transformation, and exception handling.
• Strong experience with Mail-based automated data ingestion and Application API integrations using REST/SOAP web services, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency in SQL, database scripting, data parsing, regular expressions (Regex), and structured file formats commonly used within financial markets.
• Prior experience integrating Xceptor with Murex MX.3 for front-to-back trade processing, risk management, and operational workflows is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with SmartDX for automated documentation processing, ISDA confirmations, and term sheet management is preferred.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite, or Oracle databases is highly desirable.
• Exposure to BlackRock Aladdin integrations supporting portfolio management, trade execution, and operational data exchange is an added advantage.
• Experience connecting Xceptor with SimCorp Dimension for investment operations, accounting, and reporting processes is preferred.
