Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and lead the safety team and subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety management system at sites
• Assist Workplace Safety & Health Officer in accident investigations and analysis, conduct toolbox meetings, perform daily site inspection and recommend corrective actions, etc.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements, ensuring all workers comply with MOM requirements
• Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessment, Method statement, permit to work statistics
• Conduct in-house safety orientation for all new joiners to the site, and also conduct daily toolbox meeting
• Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times
• To identify safety hazards on site
• Work closely with safety officer and safety personnel to ensure safety compliance are met
• Respond to WSH incidents by identifying causes and recommend corrective measures.
• Co-ordinate closely with site operation teams on all safety, health, environmental and security issues
• Experienced in dealing with MOM and NEA
• Experienced in preparing RA and SWP

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least O-levels and above
• Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Familiar with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
• Possess relevant Certificates (e.g. Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course)
• Team oriented, attentive to details and organized
