Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. is partnering with a healthcare provider to appoint an experienced wound care nurse. The role involves bedside patient assessments, advanced wound care interventions, and close collaboration with nursing teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds SNB registration, a post-registration wound care qualification, and at least 5 years of wound care experience. On-site consultation across care settings and strong coaching abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid SNB registration and practising certificate.
• Advanced Diploma or Certification in Wound Care, Ostomy and Continence Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of post-registration nursing experience, with wound care specialisation.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to work independently.
• Good communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide on-site consultation across care settings when required.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess patients with acute and chronic wounds and related conditions.
• Identify wound complications and escalate promptly when required.
• Provide advanced wound care interventions including cleansing, dressing selection, compression, exudate management, and NPWT.
• Perform conservative sharp wound debridement within approved scope.
• Serve as a wound care resource to nursing teams and partners, including case reviews and referrals.
• Contribute to development and review of standards, service improvements and new technologies.
• Provide bedside coaching, mentorship, and training in wound care education programs.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and research projects.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support training programs.
