  • Explain diagnoses and repairs to Service Advisor/Manager clearly.

Job description
Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Conduct advanced diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues.

Repair and replace faulty parts and components, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, and electrical systems.

Perform vehicle inspections (e.g., pre-purchase inspections) and generate accurate reports on vehicle condition.

Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to the Service Advisor/Manager in a clear and concise manner.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets both company quality standards and customer expectations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all workplace safety policies and procedures.

Keep up-to-date with technical advancements and new vehicle technologies through training.

Assist in managing workshop inventory and tools.

Qualifications
  • ITE Certificate in Automotive Technology (or equivalent), or relevant Nitec/Higher Nitec certification.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in a Singapore automotive workshop.
