A global engineering and manufacturing company based in Singapore is seeking a Workshop Technician to perform service, maintenance, and overhauling on marine engine components. The candidate must have strong mechanical skills and the ability to operate workshop machinery safely. Additionally, effective communication and teamwork are essential for meeting customer requirements. This position is hands-on and requires work onsite five days a week, with travel of up to 25%. MaK, one of the top engine brands in the medium-speed propulsion market, currently has an opportunity for a Workshop Technician in Singapore. Working in the MaK Asia workshop in Singapore, you will perform service, maintenance and overhauling on MaK medium speed marine engine components in a safe manner independently. This repair work requires broad mechanical skills, basic diagnostic capabilities, and an understanding of workshop machinery, machining, tooling, equipment, and medium speed marine engines. You will be required to attend local / Overseas onboard vessels and perform engine component servicing as and when required.
