Job summary

A leading automotive service company in Singapore is looking for a Supervisor to oversee the service department. You will ensure effective operations, high-quality maintenance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive sector, and holds a Professional Certificate, Nitec, Diploma, or Degree. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, managing service standards, and addressing operational challenges.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Automotive line is preferred.
  • Good knowledge in ISO related management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Plan and manage all vehicle input and output.
  • Assign technician for servicing on vehicles.
  • Conduct SODB in the absence of OIC.
  • Support recovery in and out of base.
  • Monitor all spare parts required.

Job description
Main Role & Responsibilities:

Supervisors purpose is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the service department, providing high-quality services while maintaining a positive customer experience.

  • Supervise all Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
  • Plan & manage all vehicle input & output.
  • Assign technician for servicing on vehicles.
  • Conduct SODB in the absent of OIC.
  • Support recovery (in / out base).
  • Attend meetings with OIC.
  • Monitor all spares required.
  • Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of automotive technicians and work closely with service advisors.
  • Assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, and providing guidance and feedback to the team members.
  • Ensure that all services are performed at a high standard and in compliance with the industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Proving training and development opportunities for automotive technicians and other team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of service equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Addressing operational challenges and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Providing strong leadership, motivation, and support to team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience Required:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

- Experience in the Automotive line is preferred
