Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Operations
- Plan and schedule daily maintenance and repair tasks for EVs to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor workshop activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain an organized workflow, minimizing downtime and ensuring vehicles are serviced on time.
- Team Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between workshop and customers.
- Assign tasks to technicians based on workload and expertise.
- Provide support and guidance to the team to resolve operational challenges.
- Inventory and Supplies Management
- Manage inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for EV maintenance.
- Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and ensure timely delivery.
- Keep accurate records of stock usage and prepare reports on inventory status.
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and vehicle history in the workshop management system.
- Generate and present periodic reports on workshop performance, including productivity, costs, and downtime.
- Track and document warranty claims and service agreements.
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all workshop activities comply with local regulations and EV-specific safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organize training sessions on EV-specific safety protocols for workshop staff.
